  1. Brooks Raley's haircut is right out of a 1960's NASA recruiting poster.
  2. Johnny Cueto missed a lot a time recently but apparently not many meals.
  3. QuickTrip is apparently the one Gas-n-Go chain that people Really enjoy working for.
  4. And how often do you see it where the guy who notches two OF assists the previous inning leads off the next?
  5. Well that was a fun half-inning, although it partially obscures the fact that Senga managed to retire just one hitter.
  6. Unlike last night's game, this one not exactly zipping along.
  7. There's a ball out of the infield w/a RiSP I was starting to forget what those looked like.
  8. =ashie62 post_id=137871 time=1695252403 user_id=90] Good lord Jake Burger is friggin HUGE
  9. [EdSullivan]Bring Out the Dancing Bears!![/EdSullivan]
  10. I saw this same movie last night: first two runners on followed by K, PO, PO
  11. That series began yesterday Binghamton was up last I heard with the big drawback being Luisangel Acuna getting hit in the face with a pitch. oe: Bingo won 9-2
  12. FINALLY!!!! The inning was shaping up as yet another case of infield dribbler, infield dribbler, and infield dribbler.
  13. The other team knows how to get the ball beyond the infield with runners on base.
  14. Been a long time since pfp in spring training obviously ... for both sides.
  15. Top 3: even the AB which brings in a run doesn't leave the infield
  16. So what happens if Alvarez swings at that (non) pitch??
  17. Top 1: 2nd & 3rd, Noone out, middle of the order up ... and no one gets a ball out of the infield Top 2: leadoff single ... and the next three fail to get a ball out of the infield I've typed some version of the above many times this season.
  18. Not that I'm drawing any conclusions based on small sample sizes, recency bias, or past performance predicting future results blah blah. But if the Braves are going to stumble in the upcoming playoffs it's likely to be from their sometimes inconsistent and injury dinged up pitching. Here are the Braves' RA over the past week: 8, 7, 6, 1, 9, 11, 16, and now 7 more tonight (thru 8) as they trail Philly 7-1 heading to the 9th

Yeah, in both cases, they kinda looked like righthanded batters forced to bat lefty for some reason.
  20. Seems like it's the first time the Mets have taken ANY September game from the Marlins, but that's probably just my imagination.
