  1. India 4 De La Cruz 6 Stephenson 3 Steer 7 France 3 Freidl 8 Espinal 5 Rosario DH Farley 9 It's a shame that none of Mark Portugal, Al Holland, Brian Jordan, Germany Schaefer, Carlos Correa, or Chili Davis (OK, I'm starting to stretch here) will be in the Cincy lineup tonight.
  2. Rox knock off Braves 3-1. ATL scored in the 1st inning (and I said 'Here we go again') but not once afterward. We've gained more ground sitting on our asses than we have lately by putting together a seven game winning streak (or so it seems).
  3. Giants just walked-off the DBacks 3-2 in the 9th So the Mets pick up a half game while just sitting around.
  4. And, as per the chart above, the Mets are Nine games better than the Phillies over the last 3+ months iow, their fans should be worried about those games at least as much as ours.
  5. The quote below is from and IGT thread but I thought the answer fit better here: =batmagadanleadoff post_id=168872 time=1725517620 user_id=68] Some day, the Mets are gonna win a game and actually gain in the standings on one of the teams ahead of them. Some day.
  6. The bullpen doesn't get a lot of style points tonight (the Romanian judge was particularly harsh) but they were ultimately effective: five innings, zero runs
  7. Forcing Rich Hill to face a third hitter here constitutes elder abuse.
  8. Edgy MD wrote: Pinch-hit DJ Stewart for Tyrone Taylor? The biggest argument against that is the increased chance at the GiDP
  9. The BB (and/or HBP): Still our most valuable bases-loaded weapon.

  12. Edgy MD wrote: That's three great outfield cutoffs by Mets outfielders. I was surprised twice when the Sawx Didn't run on Nimmo. This non-attempt didn't surprise me.
  13. Mets get a gift with a leadoff E-3 but Daniel Murphy runs into an out and 2nd to give it back.
  14. =Fman99 post_id=168816 time=1725496050 user_id=86] Megill done after just four innings. If they said why it escaped me.
  15. Devers has been a total non-factor (so far) in this series.
  16. Yanx take 4-1 lead into bottom 8 in Texas, and then a 4-3 lead into bottom 9 Clay Holmes, in for the save, got the leadoff hitter but never got another: 1B, BB, BB, GS Thanks for coming, please arrive home safely. Holmes has blown a ton of games this year, particularly in the second half. Orioles back atop the ALE by 1/2 game.
  17. =Centerfield post_id=168706 time=1725418233 user_id=65] That would be a .364 win percentage.

  20. Yeah, don't make us sweat Stanek.
  21. Mr. Diaz, you officially have the night off.
  22. [CROSSOUT]Two[/CROSSOUT] THREE quick hits off Chris Martin. You can definitely see why Gwyneth Paltrow dumped this guy.
  23. BUTTO!!!!! [FIMG=500]https://www.music-graffiti.com/frames/frame_animal_house_10.jpg[/FIMG] Oh wait ...
  24. That was a VERY risky play ... but he pulled it off so now even a single here can't give Boston the lead. And he doesn't get the single anyway!! Meanwhile, very unlikely to win this game with just one hit. Someone needs to throw brother David a lifeline here.
