    SNY ran one of their in-game pools the other night asking which NL Division leader had the best chance of winning their division. 1 - Phillies 2 Cardinals 3 - Dodgers much laughing was had in the booth , Dodgers at the time were five games up , now 6.5 games up. That division just got more interesting.

    Perez gets cut zero slack at all , when the news broke last night on SNY the studio guys made some jokes about it being his head or something. When I heard it one thought I had was that it was a convenient injury. For whatever reason Perez is an easy target.

    Listening to Johan talk after the game last night I got the feeling that while he would like more offense he seems to know that when he pitches he's got to be great , it's like his burden and he's accepted it.

    Thanks for the heads up with the Acela Club , I was never going to go there but I'm definitely not now. Agree about a pitchers duel over a slugfest , that was a fun game to watch. Santana is a genius.

    I'm happy enough with the Cuban we have , seriously ownership could be a lot worse. I don't think they are bad at all really . We have a contending club every season , a few stadium issues aside they are OK.

    My wife was telling me last night that Robbies current GF who also serves as his spokesperson in PR has been all over TV there boasting that they are getting married and showing off a ring that she says cost $300K . This information was blurted out during a press conference yesterday to announce the settlement.

    WOW , I'm not surprised though with those numbers , as great as they are even . I think Pujols aside Chipper is the hitter that scares the bejaysus out of me most in that spot.
