Q&A from today with Lennon Asked about Mejia Ryan - I respect the other side of the debate. I really do. But I also believe that if Mejia can help the Mets out of the bullpen -- to start the season - I think they need him there. This does not mean it's the end of Mejia's career. It's not going to doom him to the bullpen forever - or ruin his development. And like it or not, he's going to be with this team from Opening Day as a relief pitcher. Let's see where it takes them. Plus, if they left Mejia in the minors, and we had to keep watching Green and Parnell give away games, people would be screaming to have Mejia in the bullpen.

Yeah I saw you getting stiffed with those guys , although when you auto picked Delgado you were getting props in the chat section. We had a good turn out for the draft which I think made it fun. I think it would suck if only a few were able to make it. -
I went to four games last season and never made it over the the old apple, now it's right there when you walk up. It's sure to be a big gathering spot.

I suspect his addiction is far stronger than that carrot would be. What kind of home situation is there when he can be wasted at that hour of the morning(out all night?) and driving around with his five year old boy in the car, was he taking him to some sort of school or care?
