  1. I am no expert on the MCU but this list seems wrong to me , makes for some interesting banter in the comments section though https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/nov/15/the-20-best-marvel-films-ranked
  2. DiComo saying Amaro Jr moving to the Front Office as an advisor
  3. Roessler was so unassuming and lowkey I have a hard time picturing him ....
  4. Did anyone hear/see the Francesa interview? , if you are interested look for @BackAftaThis ...we know Francesa is a smug fuck but damn what a jerk
  5. Bridie will be disappointed if the Wilpon's are not involved , ugh
  6. HahnSolo wrote: Gelbs gets the first question... "how long have you wanted to be a GM?" Gee Whiz, Steve, give me something a little more here. another absolute waste of space , he is useless
  7. Christ, Jeff is one miserable looking wanker
  8. Certainly talks the talk
  9. Going to be a very interesting presser
  10. Got to be honest, kind of a bleh WS so far, surprising with two huge markets, Dodgers really need to win tonight.
  11. @AnthonyDiComo According to multiple sources, the Mets expect to negotiate an offer for CAA agent Brodie Van Wagenen to become their next general manager. It's not a done deal, but the job is Van Wagenen's if he and the Mets can come to an agreement. A final answer should come next week. @ryan_james1992 Replying to @AnthonyDiComo What could swing this in Bloom’s favor, if anything? Anthony DiComo ‏ Van Wagenen saying no is the only thing that would stop it.
  12. Blooming hell , this whole thing has been bizarre .... I'm excited tho
  13. Could be Bloom knows this is all BS and why bother doing a phony presser
  14. I will like many be very interested to see what Harper gets.....and where Harvey lands and gets too. Big money to Grandal?, not impressed
  15. As many on twitter noted his dad works for the #Mets
  16. I went to bed right after Rodriguez got out of that jam that Brasier got in to....that was I think the 6th inning, 11pm.....I can't hang like I used to
  17. Lord , how overplayed is the NY Media landscape? they are so demanding etc...no one loves hearing that more than the NY media I bet.
  18. 41Forever wrote: I think the Mets tend to not be especially bold or innovative, and hiring an agent with no general manager experience seem unusually out of the box for the team. Actually, so does a young guy like Bloom. But, Mickey Callaway was sort of an out of the box pick as well, so they might surprise us. Mike Puma @NYPost_Mets I have talked to several people connected with the organization who believe Fred Wilpon will go the conservative route and pick Melvin, because the Mets' last "outside the box" pick, Mickey Callaway, has backfired somewhat.
  19. I am thinking Sox in 7.....I am also thinking the games will finish late ....ugh
  20. Hate to complain about time but what time did this finish?, close to 11pm and it was still in the top of the 5th, absolutely slow as fuck these games
  21. Ceetar wrote: I'm not convinced some of these guys were even actual candidates rather than media candidates. Byrnes interviewed last time right? Does this count as 'reporting'. Sherman called Byrnes and asked if he had an interview. He said no. I could call you and ask you that, is that reporting or in any way useful information? Maybe all this bs about no one wanting to interview with the Mets is because the media is running around asking guys they're not interviewing if they're interviewing and getting 'no' responses. "Haha, look at all these guys that don't want to work for the Mets! Never mind that the Mets didn't really consider them either!" yeah, the local writers really are reveling in reporting that no one wants the job , it all looks awful too , Jeff really needs to fuck off away
  22. I think LA / Boston would be huge
  23. Edgy MD wrote: "Money for old rope." My understanding of this phrase is from the hangman that did the rounds throughout Britain and Ireland , after he did his job he often sold the rope used for the hanging
  24. Text conversation with two MFY loving friends Me - hey charlie might be time for you to warm up , CC looks shot, getting hit hard" CHarlie - Typical Mets fan....we still have 26 more wins than you Me - it's banter, fucking relax ( I knew you would give me a history lesson, never fails" God, what assholes
