I will not be one bit surprised if he's back, or if he's fired

Not a patch on Terry and our "asses are in the jackpot"

    What time did this finish?

Price "Honestly, I just think it's trash. He had an unbelievable career and he's a Hall of Famer," Price said. "I saw his special on MLB Network. It was cool. The one thing that stood out to me was that he had zero former teammates in that interview. Not one talking about him. It was him talking about himself. "If anybody ever does a special on me after baseball, I won't need to go on that interview. I will have former teammates. I will have former coaches. He didn't have that. To me, that's all you need to know. That tells the story right there." https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27210058/price-responds-spat-eckersley-resurfaceshttps://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27210058/price-responds-spat-eckersley-resurfaces

I knew the backstory from a few years ago , but the whole thing blew up again, it's very bizarre

I assumed it was Brain McCann and was surprised when he took his helmet off and it was not him

Not only did they mess up McNeil but it was a bad night for the scoreboard operators https://sports.yahoo.com/jeff-mc-neils-first-all-star-game-was-spoiled-by-scoreboards-baffling-error-045309008.htmlhttps://sports.yahoo.com/jeff-mc-neils-first-all-star-game-was-spoiled-by-scoreboards-baffling-error-045309008.html

Nothing to add here , I guess when you think things can't get worse the Mets never disappoint in that regard.

=Centerfield post_id=15336 time=1562594653 user_id=65] What could be the basis for Brodie's tantrum? Going to the closer in a tie game at home is absolutely the right move.

If Pete was not competing tonight I would not watch

=41Forever post_id=15318 time=1562535115 user_id=69] Not sure if this has been covered, but in the new Spider-Man movie, Peter Parker has a Mike Piazza pennant in his room!

Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: From time to time it would have helped this club to have a skipper obsessed with that day's game, though it's not clear how possible that is when the manager willingly or not goes out there with his hands tied behind his back every night "we're only using our closer for the final 3 outs!" until the criticism arrives and it suddenly becomes "now let me demonstrate how we'll use our closer for MORE than 3 outs. Just watch!!" and then... I think generally the Mets given their state are better off with a manager who's good with the media vs. one who's not, and I'd hate if there was a compromise there. A big part of the job is to sell the narrative and explain away the crises when need be and Mickey sucks at that and it doesn't sound like Girardi likes that part of the job. Brodie Press Conference scheduled in Miami Friday. It's crazy that a manager needs to operate like this

I never watched MFY games, unless playing against the Mets, but is Girardi a great in game manager as articles have suggested?

Very enjoyable indeed. The Diaz to Ramos bobble was a great way to end it

This was an absolute glorious game in all Metness , it had it all , I was listening while driving home, then for further punishment I tuned into SNY just before Frazier hit the HR....what an epic ...Diaz looks shell shocked
