  1. I love Keith's big mouth. After listening to the color guys in Washington, Florida, Milwaukee, San Diego and San Francisco with MLBTV, Keith says more things that pertain to how the game is played than all those guys put together. Because of that, I can tolerate the off-color things he says about things that don't pertain to baseball. The boobs in the SF booth spent an entire half inning cooing over a 3 year old fan with a batting helmet on last night without mentioning any meaningful commentary about what was happening on the field. Unfortunately, that is the norm for booths around the league. I'll take Keith's few and far between bad comments as long as he keeps giving pertinent analysis the majority of the time.
  2. ESPN 20 minute radio updates aren't always the most accurate reports. It's entirely possible someone misread or made a mistake while writing the script.
  3. Got 2 back...about time. Put a dent into Cain like they should have earlier in the game. Hopefully Reyes and LoDuca's RBI connections help them emerge from their funks.
  4. This pitcher isn't exactly Cy Young either, this guy has been hit pretty well in his previous 3 starts. Shame on the Mets for making him look so good.
  5. I love Keith's honesty...it is refreshingly different for an announcer to actually speak his mind (even if it's not PC). Anyone offended by what an ex-player says about anything not having to do with baseball is just as boneheaded as the ex-player who says the comment. I really doubt the opinons of Keith are really going to effect the overall battle of the sexes in American society. If they do, than we have bigger problems.
  6. LimaBeans: ES JOSE LIMA AN HE LIKE DO DANCE PITCHIN A BALL LIKE MAKE A ROMANCE Funny.
  7. Martinez 4 Delgado 2 Castro 1 Nady 1 Wright 1 Julio 1
  8. Another bases loaded no out jam that was gotten out of. Good appearance by Julio. Great team win.
  9. Delgado makes me happy.
  10. Ramon goes yard...2-0 Ninjas.
  11. X goes deep...gets a run for Pedro early.
  12. I don't mind the green...just the desert camo. It feels like I'm watching an 80's action flick where SD are special forces and the Mets, in their black unis, are fighting ninjas. I can't wait until Chuck Norris pops out of the bullpen.
  13. Gawd those SD camo unis are ugly.
  14. From the Mets Press Pass for 4/22/06: Mets bullpen catcher Dave Racaniello returned to New York yesterday and will undergo surgury on Tuesday to repair a herniated disk in his back...New York's minor league catching coordinator Bob Natal will join the team and assist the squad in Racaniello's absence.
  15. Sanchez 3 Wagner 2 Delgado 1 Bannister 1 Heilman 1 Oliver 1 Floyd 1
  16. I fell asleep at the comp during the 12th. I woke up to a black screen and my computer had locked up. 14 inning west coast games are crappy, especially when we lose. Hopefully we can turn it around on Saturday.
  17. LoDuca on, no outs...Lets GO Mets!
  18. Mark Bellhorn and his little league helmet get a pinch hit single in the 8th.
  19. I'm with Dickshot: Sanchez gives me wood too.
  20. I'd say Magadan too. OE: Baseball reference agrees.
  21. Brian makes my stomach hurt.
  22. Doctors are looking at the MRI as we post. Gary says they should have an uodate during the game.
