  4. For a 300 million dollar cartoon, I'm glad someone liked it. This movie is the exact reason I have HBO. In 10 to 12 months I will be falling asleep to it on my couch.

  11. Sold. I've moved him up from 1 to 5.

John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: I haven't even looked at the numbers but I can tell you right now that Parnell belongs higher than several guys on your list (Sullivan, Misch, Takahashi, Redding), simply as a function of being there all year. I disagree. 88.1 IP of a 78 ERA+ (Parnell) is worth less to me than: Misch - 59 IP of a 100 ERA+ Redding - 120 IP of an 81 ERA+ Sullivan - 157 PA of a 92 OPS+ I could probably be talked into moving Takahashi down on my list as he had only 27.1 IP of a 139 ERA+, but Parnell was the crappiest pitcher that was there all year.

  14. I disagree that 2006 was the 10th best ending out of 10,000 possible endings. Even if it were, I don't spend time rooting for the 10th best ending.
  15. I believe it is Fee Waybill of The Tubes.
  16. Fonzie for longevity and consitency. Franco would be second for the same reasons.
  17. At least nothing's tinkling in your pants.
  18. I just bought the Reyes jersey. Grandma sent me a $20 check for Xmas yesterday, so I'll pretend the jersey is from her with $2.50 kicked in by me. Sweet find...thanks for the link.
  19. Gotcha...makes sense. Personally, I'd be happy with either.
  20. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: I'd prefer Aaron Harang, probably. I find they're very similar. Why would you prefer Harang? Harang is 9 months younger. He will earn 12.5M in 2010 and has a club option for 2011 worth 12.75M with a 2M buyout. Arroyo will earn 11M in 2010 and has a club option for 2011 worth 11M with a 2M buyout. Harang ERA+ over past 3 years = 106 Arroyo ERA+ over past 3 years = 104 Arroyo has 12 more starts in that span and 11 more wins. Harang is the better K pitcher.
  21. Our friend Mark Healy is posting that Mets are in talks with Reds about Bronson Arroyo and that Molina will not be offered a 3rd year among other things. http://www.baseballdigest.com/2009/12/17/metsreds-talk-bay-may-cost-six-years-more/
  22. I would rank the top 3 as: 1. Wright 2. Piazza 3. Leiter
  23. 2006 by a mile. The 2007 team very likely could have lost in the first round of the playoffs. The 2006 team was the best shot of the decade to win it all. They were better than the Cards and better than the Tigers. Bummer.
  24. Ramon Castro is a Toronto Blue Jay: http://www.hotstove.com/2009/12/blue-jays-ink-catcher-ramon-castro/
