  3. With the losses over the weekend (both the games and otherwise), it looks as if we are using the rest of this year to look towards next year. Is Angel the answer in center for another year? His offense has regressed after a nice 2010 (like a few here said it would). I'm of the opinion that if he's going to hit the way he has, then he should be playing much better defense...but he's not. Should a more dedicated amount of playing time go towards youngsters like Pridie and Nieuwenhuis? Do we stay the course with Pagan? Do we make a move from outside the organization?

  6. I don't mind the blue. They're better than the black. Feel's like they're playing a spring training game.

It's not a "difficulty" unless we have cheapskate ownership. Yup. My thoughts exactly. Furthermore, if he's not ready than shut-him-the-fuck-down. 100% in 2012 is better than 65% in a [crossout]meaningless[/crossout] non-contending 2011.

  14. The difficulty with what, Adam? Peeps need to learn how to tweet! Damn.
  15. The Daily News quoting Terry Collis wrote: "The thing with Dan, when it's explained to him, I bet it never happens again." IMO, if you're playing in the majors, these type of things shouldn't need to be explained. They are explained in little league, or at the high school level, or in college, or in rookie ball, or in single A, or in AA, or AAA...but this isn't the type of play you should be explaining in the highest level of the professional sport. Muffy is the poster boy for a "DH in the NL" movement. I love the way he hits, but I wish he could play better defense somewhere.

  18. Inspired by the participation in the Dickeyface Invitational thread, take a shot of yourself putting on your best Pelfreyface. Post the photo to this thread.
  19. I'd rather Waldstein to Beat MFY.
  20. He can play any infield position, he's a lefty, he's got a ring (which doesn't mean too much ten years later, but I'll bet he's used to mentor some younger players) and he's a local boy. Still, I'm surprised every season when he shows back up on the roster.
