Not trying to rain on the parade, but while his last two starts have been great, Seo gives up quite a few HR's, really needs a park like Shea to hold some long fly balls, and can fall in love with the changeup so much hitters learn to sit on it (though I though he did a much better job mixing things up today). I think Jae is a nice number 5, but not much more than that.Still, starting him over Ishii is a no-fucking-brainer.

He burned one guy who was fresh yesterday (Koo) on one batter.He pulled the other guy (Graves) after two batters. The problem with going with Hernandez there was that he had given up HR's each of the last two games. Forget what he said, he needed a day off. For that reason, going to him with no safety net is ludicrous.As Rotblatt said, allow Graves to start the 9th with Roberto warming up. Or, if you're going to allow Bert to start the 9th, there is no way you let him go without a backup plan. This "I'll live or die with my closer" crap is bullshit. Have Santiago out there in case it's clear Bert has nothing.And after 2 batters, it was clear he had nothing.

These are two suckass games. Gotta wonder why it took Willie so long to get someone up in the pen when Roberto showed he had nothing today. Unforgiveable. Putting an overworked, exhausted 40 year old out there...pretty dumb.Putting him out there with no safety net...inexcusable.
