The kid is already a college grad, so that will save dad a bunch of money. The lefty hitting LF/ 1B prospect was recently promoted to AAA, where he was the IL player of the week. A no-brainer, since he hit homers in 5 consecutive games. I went there with my parents as a kid. Just as we got to the hotel, there was a measels empdemic declared and we got quarentined in the hotel for a week. They lifted the quatantine just in time for us to leave and come home. Never really saw the city. Where haven't you gone in Canada, but would like to go? Some kudos here for Dillon Gee. If you listened to the game on the Buffalo station, you heard that Mr. Gee took care of a little retaliation last night on Leonard Davis. Drilled him up and in for the season-ending injury he caused by his dirty slide on Daniel Murphy. Later

(Posted before I read the linked article) Other than Wil Tovar (.400+), who is supposed to be a real prospect, the current Nats lineup sports batting averages that look like the IQs at a MENSA convention. But, man, can that team PITCH. Marc Cohoon had pitched three consecutive complete game shutouts before his promotion. Most of them are stil around. If they can find even a little offense, they'll be in the second half race, too. Later
