1. Chicago. They're a better klassik rawk outfit than aerosmith.. the Beach Boys.
2. Kiss? Probably not but closer than you think
3. I'd also prefer the doors, ccr and allmans to aerosmith. Cheap Trick too.
4. I'd put Tom Petty + the Heartbreakers and the Byrds ahead if Aerosmith, just off the top of my head
5. This is bullshit. Not even 7 pm and were getting our asses kicked
6. Amazin'. No mid inning pitching changes in either game. Plus a visit from Steve j. Rogers
7. I think Mike from Survivor just played the cannon shooting into the apple game
8. Is Carrasco's warmup music really Bryan Adam's Summer of 69?
9. Wow. I thought a second inning would spoil his pristine start but he's gonna be a phenomenon before long.
10. This marks the 1st "official" gathering of the Tuesday Night Mets Club, tho I'm gonna miss several innings of Game 1 at least. Section 312, row 8!
11. May needs the Steve Traschel Treatment, 2 weeks in AAA figuring out why he was a major leaguer
12. So McHugh coming in with 2 outs, bases loaded to face Canha.
13. Looks like the Red Sox are also eating a giant commitment to Pedro Sandoval.
14. Yay! Big nads on Steve for that one
15. The /pukes/ world champion Atlanta Braves visit the Apple tonight as Max Fried (2-2, 3.00) opposes Chis Bassitt (3-1, 2.25). Ronald Acuna is back but the Braves are just 10-13, having lost 2 of 3 over the weekend to the Rangers. Matt Olson replaces Freddie Freeman and is off to a good start but I'm just not as scared of him. Our pals Travis d'Arnaud and Guillermo Heredia will be there, as will Darren O'Day and Colin HcHugh. Sticking with the Beeges, who served this forthcoming 17-game winning streak well in its first day.
16. Yoan Lopez is just here for the violence
17. Edgy MD wrote: Escobob got one strike in that at-bat. Gotta let these guys sink themselves, men. Is he trying too hard to justify his big contract? He's a much better hitter than this. He's got 2 hits tonight. Mets have 12
18. Wow, that's an inside the park hr if it gets by him
