  1. Cmon Max ya can't turn 3 if you whiff the guy
  2. =Fman99 post_id=92136 time=1652466290 user_id=86] I've been super negligent in my roster management due to my home page (where I keep my bookmarks) not being accessible because of our move. I've finally fixed that, and my sad-ass roster. I'm about to turn things around now !
  3. The rebirth of McNeil is the best story of 2022 for the Mets so far--followed by 2 big 9th comebacks, the 5-guy no-hitter, onfield scrums with 2 different teams in the first 15 games, and Tylor Magoo
  4. Benjamin Grimm wrote: And it doesn't look like Alvarez is ready yet. That's probably because Luis Rojas refused to start him in a spring training game catching Noah Syndergaard last year.
  5. Lefty Specialist wrote: · Stuart Fairchild, OF, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma and designated for assignment. I'll take "Ballplayers whose names make me think they're really accountants for $200, Alex."
  6. Nogo is the last survivor of the Addison Reed Trade
  7. =G-Fafif post_id=92089 time=1652387114 user_id=55] Also a TCBY Win*. *-Games after which the manager takes the team out for frozen yogurt, toppings included.
  8. another TCOB kinda win. It seemed like we hardly ever had a TCOB Win* last season. *-Games in which you do enough to beat the other team convincingly but not overwhelmingly. You may make a few mistakes but on balance the quality of your play was better than the opponents to the point at which, after 9 innings, a winning outcome, without a lot of sweat or squirts, is the "right" result.
  9. He's just being a tool because he knows the Mets fans and the NYC media will get up in arms over it. Good World Series storyline too, should it get to that point
  10. Win tonight and we'll have surpassed last season's high-water mark. Our failure to exceed that 8-10-games-over range we hovered in while the rest of the division was struggling doomed us last year. Like then we have some space but we need more. More More!!
  11. That's Trenton actually.
  12. Amazinly, the Angels were ahead in that game 10-0 late and had position player Brent Phillips pitching, so Anthony Rendon sportingly batted left-handed for the first time in his career--and hit a 2-run homer.
  13. Business like win, on a night they gave themselves chances to lose
  14. It's insane enough that McNeil is our best hitter this year but he might also be our best defender too. Now that's shocking
  15. Escobar hustles home on McCanns medium fly to right, we are now winning
  16. Heavy into Jeff. Too fast for Bell to glove cleanly, 2 score, we're tied
  17. Escobar avoids making an out and they're loaded for McNee
  18. Marte aggressively hacks himself out after being up 2-0
  19. Davis finally has a hit. 1st + 2nd, 0 out
  20. Carl Edwards Jr., who I didn't know was a National, wearing no. 58. He wore 6 with the Cubs. I think they said Esco was a late scratch, not sure why
