Fuck. they got another one. Is Wright hurt? Announcers pointed out that he didn't reach down for that ball well, which is EXACTLY what i'd expect with a groin injury.

Matsui strikes out with the bases loaded, inning over. It has got to be a shitty feeling for a guy to make 2 outs in 1 inning when his team is losing.

Victor Zambrano is a fuckin train wreck. he gives up single to the pitcher, a walk to roberts because he's afraid to challenge a singles-hitter, he falls behind on giles with the bases loaded and BANG, 5-0 Padres.

and if Keith Hernandez had quoted he rulebook last night without bringing up her gender he'd be 100% right. But in the context of an apology it's the wrong time to read the rule. You could have apologized and then had your partner casually mention the rule (since I'm sure the "apology" was ordered from above anyway.)

ESPN gamecast has a much improved look this year, but it is usually anywhere from 1 to 3 batters behind MLB in my opinion.
