on WFAN they just said that Perez had a good outing for Brooklyn tonight. i know its short-season A against guys who were drafted in the late rounds a couple of weeks ago but its SOMETHING, right? just checked the brooklyn site, 5 innings, 6 ks, 1 walk, 2 hits, 0 runs. dont see a pitch count anywhere

the kosher-stand knishes are AMAZING, they are like giant garlic knots filled with potato. ]1. The parking situation is abhorrent. I envy those of you who are in easy reach of mass transit options to the park. We had to park across the street from the Citi Field parking lot, even though THOSE lots were not filled out, in a very disorganized lot by the train platform. Took 25 minutes to exit said lot and 15 minutes to find a spot to park in the first place, with virtually no employee guidance on where to go. Also a pointless wait for my change despite paying cash. Whiff i've been in that lot and once took nearly an hour to get out of there. of course i was with a girl and made good use of the time.

whatever you want to call it, pujols was intentionally placed on 1st base. and i'm 100% behind that. i want to play to WIN, by avoiding the guy most likely to hit one out, instead of playing not to lose (which is what you do by pitching to him under the theory that the worst he can do is tie it)
