I'm guessing Clippard won't be the Nats' sixth-inning guy for long. he should be their 6th inning guy. and the 7th. and the 8th. theres no reason to pull a reliever, particularly one who has started before and you know can throw alot, when he is pitching well. fuck the whole "one guy per inning, one inning per guy" bull.

Manager Jerry Manuel indicated he planned to use Ruben Tejada at shortstop and Alex Cora at second base it feels like 2009 again fortunately, reyes played 9 innings at SS last night in a minor league game and is due back saturday! -
From the terrace, there are full views of the East River, the United Nations, the Chrysler building and the Midtown skyline. From the inside, there is nothing "metly" to be seen.

Barajas works the count full but Barajas pops out to shallow left. Good job by Bay faking and forcing the throw. It was a terrible throw but not bad enough to let him go home. Gotta make him throw it though by tagging up and faking. pitching change

Cora gets on base the best way he can. Castillo does likewise as Reyel Pinto walks him to bring a run home and its bases loaded for David Wright... not suprising the lefty reliever isn't staying in.
