We should be nearing the days when we see a player "check-in early". Buck would likely be there now to acclimate himself. Right and https://www.springtrainingcountdown.com/https://www.springtrainingcountdown.com/

Writing in Jethro Tull next time I get a say so. Put all the cheaters in and let's be done with it. Pete Rose's speech and a few of the others will be be priceless humor-wise.

Looks like Jerry's building is still having water pressure issues. -

=Fman99 post_id=84617 time=1642247023 user_id=86] I don't get it, are we moving again?

Not sure he deserves his own thread, but things are slow.

The Casey image with poster avatars is of course the work of Ben Grimm. I don't imagine any toast popping in 2022 but it's a fun thought.

If anyone has any ideas for contributions please post here or PM. http://www.thecranepool.net/http://www.thecranepool.net/ Note: This is not what the site looks like but merely a teaser splash page....

It's YOUR decision! Retire Gary Carter's number?
kcmets replied to Benjamin Grimm's topic in New York Mets Talk
I had to look it up, because I too remember it seemed like an eternity. 255 AB between 299 and 300. https://metsmerizedonline.com/2021/08/otd-1988-gary-carter-hits-300th-career-home-run.html/https://metsmerizedonline.com/2021/08/otd-1988-gary-carter-hits-300th-career-home-run.html/ -
So after Keef, let's do David and be done with all this for another decade.

I'm pleased as punch that #17 is being retired. I'm asking Edgy to explain his post. He won't, he doesn't like direct questions.

Yeah, but, yay or nay on #17 being retired this season?

Coolio, thanks

It wasn't on SNY here. Are there regional versions of the station?

=G-Fafif post_id=84458 time=1642006789 user_id=55] SNY plans to “go live” at 1:30 ET for Keith coverage, presumably regarding 17 being retired,

=batmagadanleadoff post_id=84408 time=1641945598 user_id=68]Name names? Don't start. Why don't you back to the football thread and tell us when the Super Bowl starts? Post something real helpful.

=batmagadanleadoff post_id=84405 time=1641944653 user_id=68]Me personally, if it was up to me, I wouldn't have even voted Carter into the Mets Hall of Fame, but I get the sense that this is a pointless argument to make with youse. Don't get me started on why some people thought Carter's Met uni was more deserving of retirement and more of a priority than Keith's.

WOW!!
