2 Justin Turner I find this one rather intriguing. Is that what he wore last year? Also, if you gave me ten guesses, I probably wouldn't have picked 43 for R.A. Dickey. Is that what he wore last year? I'm much less attentive to uniform numbers than I used to be. I still associate 43 with Jim McAndrew.
Bumping this because Pujols is in the news again. Says tomorrow is the deadline for him to sign a contract with the Cards, otherwise he's going to become a free agent.
I really think that Bud Selig is going to get to work to try to coordinate a full sale of the team. The only question in my mind is when this will happen (if it hasn't already started, which I sort of doubt) and how successful it will be, if the Wilpons decide to be stubborn about hanging in there, as they very well might.
Interesting. I would think that a scout should focus on both. You want to know the weaknesses of the potential acquisitions, as well as the strengths of potential opponents.

Just saw this the other day. I enjoyed it well enough. Gave it three stars. I'm not by any stretch a Star Trek fan. I used to watch the original series on Channel 11 when I was a kid, so I'm familiar with the characters, and I saw the first movie or two, but that's about it.
I don't have especially high hopes for this season, but I think Angel Pagan will be one of the bright spots. I'll even predict a Schaefer Player of the Month award for him, if we continue that tradition.
I also think his 2011 will be a lot like 2010, but I'll tinker with the numbers a little bit, just for the heck of it: 155 games (150 starts: 35 in right field, 115 in center) .280, 15 HR, 90 R 25 SB
