I'm glad we'll be seeing the bottom of the order for the Phillies in the ninth. But I'd still appreciate another run or two.

Quick inning. I'd let Manaea at least start the eighth.

Postseason baseball is a lot of fun. And it looks like we should be able to experience it more often than in the past, between the wealthy owner and the expanded field.

=Fman99 post_id=174449 time=1728253789 user_id=86] Oh another thing that I hate - any records that reference cumulative postseason stats. Of course these guys have the most postseason home runs ever. The 1950s Yankees and Dodgers never had more than 7 games in a postseason. These teams could have as many as 22.

That strikeout was iffy, but I'll take it.

I forgot about Megill!

I hope we can get two from Butto and one from Diaz. I'd rather not see Ottavino.

"This is a great opportunity for the Phillies." Because a comeback would change their momentum. That's a weird spin, as if the Phillies want to be three runs down.

I checked and it's not Reyes. Fox announcers keep saying, "Who's going to step up for the Phillies?" Maybe the answer is nobody.

An on-screen fun fact said that Vientos is the third youngest Met to get two extra-base hits in a postseason game. It didn't say who the two were who were younger. I'm guessing Jose Reyes might be one of them.

Bader hung in there nicely. Sanchez"s pitch count is starting to get up there.

=metirish post_id=174376 time=1728248964 user_id=72] Not sure about that foul call over third off the bat of Marte

Nice caught stealing there!

I just dropped in to see the Big Purple.

Well, that's three quarters of a run.

The Fox announcers had me thinking that Rojas' first name is "Speedy"
