  1. Buck 1.5 Byrd 1 Harvey 4 Hawkins 0.5 Murphy 1 Parnell 1.5 Quintanilla 0.5
  2. Turner on the DL, Scott Atchison activated.
  3. There was that home run off the foul pole in Minnesota, of course, but other than that, it seems that Harvey loses his no-hitters on the cheapest, crappiest little hits. I'm sure his day will come.
  4. 12 strikeouts, 87 pitches, no hits through 6 innings. If he averages 11 pitches per inning the rest of the way he can finish up with 120.
  5. Terry said he'd let him go over 120, because he'll be getting an extra day before his next start. But yes, the count is high. And Terry will have thoughts of Johan Santana in his head if this continues.
  6. It seems almost inevitable that Matt Harvey will one day (and perhaps soon) pitch a no-hitter, doesn't it? Perhaps very soon. Like within the next hour or so.
  7. Kevin talking to Leo Mazzone, who doesn't seem to be rocking back and forth.

  9. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Pitching change already. Interesting. Wood threw 73 pitches in three innings? Wow.
  10. Interesting choice. I think I would have given him a number with less Mets history. Like maybe 46 or 38 or something.
  11. It'll probably take longer than that.

  20. I didn't watch the game, but I turned on WFAN in the car and found the postgame show. There was a lot of frustration in Terry's voice. I can't really blame him for not being able to win with this team, but I am sensing the odor of doom around him. Firing him wouldn't be entirely fair, but it may be inevitable.
