  1. Last call for all games played in the second half of April. Voting will close on Sunday morning. If you have any catching up to do, please try to do so in the next few days.
  2. I never heard of her This is Adriana Lima: That's what I think too but who knows what Harvey thinks My guess:

I find it hard to picture that 25 grown men were sobbing for 15 minutes because Matt Harvey had a headache.
  4. That reminds me of "I only want to talk about Qualcomm." Boy, it's been one thing after another with this guy.
  5. It is strange how the team has a "falling apart" vibe despite the fact that they've been winning. They're 5.5 games out of first place. Two games out of the wild card. And a lot of baseball left to play. And why exactly should Mets fans be embarrassed? I wasn't the one playing naked golf with Matt Harvey at 4 a.m., or whatever he was doing.
  6. Pet peeve about Jim Abbott... (well, not about Abbott himself, but about how he was covered)... Everyone kept saying that he had "one arm". He actually had two arms, but one of the arms is missing a complete hand.

  8. Some guy named "Tim Tebow" just signed a multi-year contract extension at ESPN. https://www.si.com/mlb/2017/05/08/tim-tebow-signs-espn-contract-extension
  9. Edgy MD wrote: Yeah, sure there's an argument—the same argument that justifies any trade: If the deal they want is available. True. But I doubt they get that good deal this week. Anyone approaching the Mets for a Harvey deal at this point is probably bargain hunting. But you never know.
  10. I agree. There's no good argument for trading him immediately. His value right now is low, and it's more likely to go up than down, only because it's already so low. Wait a month, or two, or more, and see where Harvey is at, and where the team is at.
  11. ... they should set Milone up on a date with Adriana Lima.
  12. That's pretty funny.
  13. I was trying to think of the major league city with the least exciting nightlife. I don't know: Milwaukee? Phoenix? I'm not really up on such things.
  14. Olney is apparently one of the ESPN survivors.
  15. Buster Olney wrote: Harvey’s time with the Mets could be nearing an end. If they continue to be crushed by injuries, this season of promise could be turned into a rebuilding situation, and it might make sense for them to dangle Harvey on the trade market and move him, even if they feel they’re getting less than equal value. They’ve seen him at his best and they know firsthand about his worst, and it may be time for the Mets and Harvey to go their separate ways in a professional divorce. They know he’ll probably move on through free agency anyway. Harvey’s days as the toast of New York are part of the past. But the more pertinent question about Harvey is his own investment in himself. He is 28 years old, and it’s up to Harvey whether he’ll be able to look back at his suspension as a turning point. If it isn’t, his time as a major league pitcher could end a lot sooner than he realizes, and in the decades ahead, he’ll be remembered as a trivia question: Who was that guy they called the Dark Knight?
  16. How about "Millie the Model"?
  17. Can we call him "Mayday"?
  18. The Failing New York Times wrote: In an interview with SiriusXM MLB Network Radio on Sunday afternoon, Mets General Manager Sandy Alderson said that the ligaments in shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera’s left hand between his thumb and index finger were intact despite an injury he sustained during Saturday’s game. “We’ve got about the best news that we could from that situation,” Alderson said, adding, “Cabrera’s out for a short period of time, hopefully.”
  19. And he's not even pitching well enough to be traded.
  20. Maybe they shouldn't let Wilk pitch to Stanton anymore.
  21. So... Wilk replaces Harvey for three days? (Or just for today, with someone else taking the spot for Monday and Tuesday?) It looks like no move has been made yet regarding Cabrera?
  22. Thanks for dropping by, Adam Wilk. NEXT!
