Probably could have gotten another inning out of Shreve

And now the Mets have a 4-3 lead. Timely hitting is fun!

And almost as quickly, it's a tie game again

And very quickly the Mets are down by three.

Maybe this is the first time I've watched this season... They're giving betting odds on whether Howie Kendrick will get a hit tonight or whether Pete Alonso will hit a homer. (Bet $100 and if he homers you win $265.) Are the Wilpons looking to make some extra money by making book on SNY?)

I think it was one of the ones that were written after he was dead.

I prefer to call him Walter Wallet. https://www.comicstripfan.com/newspaper/g/gasolinealley/GasolineAlley19990302.jpg>

Is this a new cap the Mets are wearing? Blue crown and brim, orange NY with white border and orange button? Does this cap go with the blue jerseys?

I'll leave the ass-eating to you. I think I'll just passively watch the game.

They only have to be a .500 team (more or less) to make the playoffs, so while this is definitely a setback it's hard to say that they're necessarily "finished".

I've seen speculation that a lot of players may be delaying their opt-out until they hit service-time milestones. Oh well. I had hoped he'd be coming back soon. I guess he was just playing at his rehab.

I picked FK too. Franklyn Kilome.

Wacha is on the IL. Stroman wlon't be ready. Who starts? (You can select your prediction or your preference. It really doesn't matter!)

I was thinking the same thing about Old Dominion. And I was also thinking that I have no idea what SPDRS or Blue-Emu are.

He has a long way to go to catch up to Donald Trump in that department
