Mets RH Matt Harvey (5-6, 6.60 ERA)
Phillies RH Ben Lively (3-7, 4.35)

6.60 ERA. Yikes.

If Harvey pitches a nine-inning shutout tomorrow, he'll get his ERA down to 5.99.

And he'd be the first Met to do so this year. The Mets are three games away from finishing their first season ever without a pitcher throwing a shutout.

Last game as a Met? Anyone? Anyone?

2017 is the first time they ever appeared together for the Mets in the same season.

True, part of my point is the many injuries that prevented it from happening.

Reyes hits a homer that I thought was going to hit his own face displayed on the scoreboard in right.

Keith sounds kind of drunk tonight.

Sounds pretty normal to me, but I'd need him to read an ad for Itchypussy
Motors like Ralph used to to be sure...

Harvey balking a run home by hitting himself in the butt with the ball during his windup — a season in a nutshell.

I really wanted to run the IGT table this weekend. I suck. #LGM2018

Trying to think of bad Met pitchers (who were thought to be better) and I
come up with Anthony Young? He lost 30 games over two years and had a
much better ERA than 6.70. I may be thinking of someone else but it's not
coming to me at the present time.

Mets pitchers with 15 or more starts and an ERA of 5.00 or higher:

[list:c33pzr32]2017 Matt Harvey 6.70
1993 Pete Schourek 5.96
2008 Pedro Martinez 5.61
1994 Pete Smith 5.55
1983 Craig Swan 5.51
1963 Jay Hook 5.48
2009 Livan Hernandez 5.47
1996 Paul Wilson 5.38
2017 Rafael Montero 5.26
2017 Zack Wheeler 5.21
2017 Robert Gsellman 5.19
1980 John Pacella 5.14
1982 Mike Scott 5.14
2005 Kaz Ishii 5.14
1966 Rob Gardner 5.12
2009 Tim Redding 5.10
2000 Bobby Jones 5.06
2009 Mike Pelfrey 5.03[/list:u:c33pzr32]

Eighteen items on that list, and four are from this season!

I had totally forgotten how bad Pedro Martinez's numbers were in 2008.

I have virtually no recollection of Tim Redding. I need to de-frag my noggin.
