Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Speaking of interleague play (as per the booth's Twitter Q of the Day) the National League, which was getting kill't earlier in this season in IL matchups, has rapidly closed the gap in recent weeks to where the gap is just 95-90 in favor of the AL (and about to go 95-91?).After the NL had the edge in four of the first seven years after full-time IL was started in 1997, the AL has won the last 13 consecutive seasons including five times by a 55/45 margin or greater.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 I hope Conforto the centerfielder appreciates the two runs of cover that Conforto the hitter gave him.Reed on looking for a five-outer.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Drama, the scene shifts to Blevins....
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 If they escape this, it may come down to a lost sheep like Robles or Smoker in the ninth.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Except Robles already worked
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 This Blevins guy might be good. I'm looking forward to his future.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 I would really like to NOT see Salas in this game (unless they happen to blow things open in bottom 8) so this might just come down to a parade of LHPs
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 John Axford?!?!?I had forgotten all about this guy.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Oh, smokes, there's practically four guys on the right of second. Bunt like a bandit!
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Is it me, or should this should have been over around 9:50?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Some credit to Collins for pulling Reed after he burned his bridges with the home plate ump, and now Blevvy gets the borderline call.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Something tells me Asdrubal and Duda rarely share a cab.

Guest 41Forever Guests Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) Kudos to Blevins. I didn't think Terry was going to send him back out. Edited July 22, 2017 by Guest
