Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Braves win 11-10 on a Tyler Flowers 3R HR in the 9thThe HR made it 11-9. Nats got one back in the bottom half but Harper flied to CF with the tying run on 1st to end the game.Matt Albers was Dusty's designated closer du jour but that choice didn't work out too well as he's the one who served up the tater to Flowers. That's 3.5 games gained in three days.

I will get a good night's sleep tonight, love the 2 1/2 hour game time.At 2:23, this was the shortest NYM game of the year and the 3rd time that one of our games came in at 2:30 or less.Until around the mid-'80s, games under 2-1/2 hours were the majority and as recently as a decade ago the percentage of nine-inning games <2:30 was still in double-digits.Last year though a total 7 NYM games (out of 149 nine-inning games) came in at 2:30 or less and looks like we're on about that same pace this season.
