Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 With other injuries getting most of the pub this season, the loss of Duda was under-rated, just as it was last year.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Buckle up and brace yourselves, as we may experience some turbulence as we go to the pen.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Sewald is the right call. Let's get six outs out of him.Heck with it, let's get nine.First, let's get Jaso.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Oh wow, ESPN neglected to give us lineup/defensive changes* because they're too busy talking about other things and they figure we don't care anyway. How unusual.* Cabrera out, Sewald hitting in his slot, Reynolds to 3rd batting 9th, Reyes slides over to SS Edited May 29, 2017 by Guest
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Good inning there. 1/3 of the way to the finish line.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Don't be shy about tacking a few more on boys.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Granderson doing his best Conforto impersonation tonight. He's 3-5 with a run and an RBI. Runners at the corners for the Mets. Reyes flies out to end the inning.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 We get it, you're outside in the rain. For fuck's sake, shut up.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I think Ramirez's white leopard would get the ball closer to the plate than he can.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Nice win, some timely hitting, good defense all weekend really plus marked improvement by Harvey. Let's hope that's the start of something.Shame about Saturday's very winnable game cuz this would have been a real nice sweep otherwise. But that's the difference between being a good team and a struggling one; a good one would have taken 2 of 3 from SDP and swept three here. But instead of a possible 5-1 overall they went 3-3.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Miami beats the Angels, 9-2, but Washington loses to San Diego, 5-3, Atlanta gets pummelled by the Giants, 7-1, and Philadelphia falls to Cincinnati, 8-4.Mets finish the day tied for second with Atlanta at 21-27, 8.5 games behind Washington.
