Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Welll, well well, trying to make a game out of this turd casserole. Now 7-4 and tying run on deck. C'mon you Mets.

Sheesh. He has to be the least competent bunter I've ever seen. He's an absolute disgrace. Can't sleep between the hours of midnight and 4 am? Torn up over Adriana?Fuck, man, look up bunting videos on YouTube and practice. Christ, do it drunk if that helps.Sogard. Arcia. Hell, if anything should keep you awake Googling bunting videos, or something productive...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 The game kind of turned from that point, didn't it? Not literally, but I felt outgamed 800 miles away. The booth was on another subject and didn't rip him at all, but between his bunting (doesn't even get the bat head in fair territory) and his defense (standing on one leg), it's amazing how defiantly disinterested he is in the peripheral fundamentals of being a ballplayer.I don't buy this Adriana thing, but he sure seems to be broken somewhere.

Keith seemed overly praise-worthy as well.No boys, he was, at best, mediocre thru the 5th: 97 pitches (20+ more than average much less 'good') including 5 walks (one semi-intentional) even if only 4 hits and 6 K's
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Had great seats for the game...if we were any closer we'd be playing. The tickets said row 4, but the first three rows were taken up by the camera well, so it was really row 1. [fimg=500:20n2cnib]http://i.imgur.com/Lnl2xTp.jpg[/fimg:20n2cnib]I sat next to an older couple that drove in from Sioux City, Iowa. The guy had a voice like Lou the manager from Major League.Harvey had horrible body language all night. The whole team seemed flat. The best Brewer fans of the night were three guys that dressed up as Batman villains. The Penguin and Riddler were half-assed, but the Joker was the best.[fimg=300:20n2cnib]http://i.imgur.com/BKR8dnT.png[/fimg:20n2cnib]I'll be back for game two...hopefully with a better result. As an aside...I wasn't driving last night, so I stayed out late, had a few beers and woke up with a headache. I still showed up for an optional softball practice this morning. How about that, Matty?

A similar team built around sluggifying. If we're not outplaying them, we're not playing well. Because they're playing the same type of game.
