Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Curtis took the time to return a fist-bump offered by a kid, a nice gesture while he was busy tarring his bat and preparing for a key appearance with his career on the line.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Pinch hits and fist bumps and AAA call ups are all well and good. But let's not lose sight of what's important. This game is supposed to be about the big black rubber penises, you guys.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Orioles hold on to win 6-4 -- they were leading 6-0 and the Nats had the final run thrown out at home plate. Didn't see the play but I don't see how it could have been a smart one considering that it was 2nd & 3rd with one out so is wasn't the tying run.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I would have sworn Cabrera's thumb injury would have been at least a month when it first happened.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I know I must be mis-remembering, but I don't think I heard Steve Gelbs' voice once tonight.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 You know what was really lovely? Familia's 9th inning - quick, efficient and without drama.Hopefully it's a sign that Jeurys has got his groove back!
