So I did something strange. I negotiated for a salary that I'll never collect a dime of. I'm under suspension. A permanent/not permanent ban, as it were.

Hey, I'm on the roster. I don't know what to say. Three strikes and you're out, but at the end of this season, I may have an opportunity to return to the plate one more time. Or the rubber. That's what I meant. It's only right that I get a second chance. Or fourth. Or whatever. Or maybe sooner, if I can get a court to entertain my appeal. But at this point I'm probably going to wait out the season and apply for reinstatement. Or will I? Maybe you know.

Listen I may never make it back. But let's be clear—I had the long hair rocking before any of those punk white guys.

So how's my year gonna look? Let me know. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to take my vitamins.

I'm curious if he's still able to get a visa.

It's weird how his fate is so tied to Rob Manfred. I mean, presumably he could play in the Atlantic League, or another circuit who'd have no obligation to honor his suspension. But earning $$$ as a ballplayer might prejudice MLB against him somehow.

But hey, he's on the roster, if only technically, so he got a thread.

I don't think it will happen in 2017, but I see him attempting a comeback someday but then realizing he sucks without the roids.

That top left picture looks like the pose he will assume when he appeals his ban.
Won't work.
He won't be playing in the USA this year (I'm not sure if the ban carries over to international summer leagues such as Mexico, Taiwan and Japan).
