MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I voted 11th Heaven. So many members of the pitching staff have long hair that the hair angle has become a crutch when they have nothing else clever to say.Later
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 the picture is better but the 11th heaven highlight is just so dumb, plus the whole 'theme' is gut-punched by the "Matz may be done" addendum. really looking forward to voting against either of these.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I like both covers, but ended up voting for their opponents in the prior round. Will have to think this one through. The Cabrera HR is one of the best moments of the season. Maybe even the best, arguably. But that picture does the moment no justice. And the cover and headline are just ok.In a way it's hurt by Zvon's contribution:When you look at that, you can't help but think what might have been. Everyone on their feet. Cabrera celebrating. Everyone looking the other way. One random Met knows it's gone and is already hopping the fence. That picture with any headline wins this contest.*Can and Admin fix the size? Didn't know it would display that big!
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Went with Heaven to add to the landslide.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 After much deliberation, I went with Hair. But it looks like it won't make much difference.
