You think that was bad on TV, it was worse in person.

I'm on the left, in a Faith & Fear In Flushing shirt.

It was like waiting for a train that wouldn't arrive. You get to the platform all psyched to go somewhere but the train never shows up. The best part was having so many Mets fans near us as The 7 Line Army was two sections to our right (with some moving to the empty seats around me).

At least I didn't pay $62 for the ticket, tee, and a pin plus another $50 or so for the bus (I paid $23 from Stubhub) for a 1-0 loss.

Cespedes was in front of us. Between innings, after two or three long throws, he made believe he was a pitcher and pitched to the bullpen catcher (the Mets bullpen is in RF at Nationals Park).
