Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 One of only four MLB games scheduled...Urena (2-5, 5.83) vs deGrom (7-7. 2.96)
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hope those extra few days of rest have deGrom pitching like deGrom again.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 With all these injuries I hope we are not winning with mirrors.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Gotta like lineups where Kelly Johnson goes from cleanup, to 8th, the 3rd on consecutive nights.Don't like 'em so much when we're once again Cespedes-less.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Maybe Conforto will finally be good and Bruce will be fixed?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I like that Conforto was slotted right in there tonight.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Man, you can't give a team two better double-play balls, but it's like Gordon and Suzuki can't legally be doubled up.Keef's right, though. Flores should be charging a little more. Part of why I advocate for instead sticking him at third, man.And now, Suzuki scores the game's first run.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 This ump is squeezing deGrom, but he's not hitting his spots. Too many wasted pitches.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Ump was definitely fucking with him earlier.

He could have been 2 strides closer (& sooner, still avoiding the runner) if he moved in like a human. He didn't do awful there. And that was Gordon running, so ...The issue there once again was footwork, Wilmer's notorious problem (no matter where you put him).

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 d'Arnaud once again striking fear into the opposition.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I got nothing for Bruce. I didn't want to jinx him. But I got this for Yelich.Damn, shudda squeezed out another run that inning.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Well, at least whatever happens here on it's only a game in the balance.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Thurs nights are always slow here, the cool people are over on the other forum.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 You mean there's a secret forum where only the cool people are invited? If so, that means I'm not one of the cool people.**Wait until Paulie hears about this.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 They've never invited me either, RD!I'm glad there are no other games going on of consequence. This gameis tough to stick with. And with that, we get to watch Donnie Baseball pick his ear. Nice.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Shouldn't have swung at that first pitch, Wilmer.Hang in there.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Nice turn at bat by Flores
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Barraclough missed his target ever time.Even a GiDP isn't an outright disaster here, Conforto.
