Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 The SHaMs (Second HAlf Mets) have 74 games left. How many of them do they win?Too many options for a poll so write in if you want to choose 35 wins or 38 winsWhile we're at it, predict yourSHaMVP:
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Last year's SHaMs were a .589 team, vs. .529 for the FHaMs. I can predict no less.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I'm not optimistic. I'll say 36-38. The ShaMVP will be Cespedes.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 My SHaMVP is uh, Granderson
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I'll be optimistic and guess that Syndergaard and Céspedes are OK. I see a lot of games with weak teams like the Phillies, Marlins, Padres, and Yankees on the SHaMS schedule. So I'll go with 43.D'Arnaud stays in the lineup and silences the doubters.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 .500Cespedes...who will immediately split for a 6-year-deal on an AL team.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Owies are a bitch.36-38. José, weirdly, leading to continued weird feelings for all.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 28-25, .528, with 21 to go. So, on pace for 39, though with the improved lineup and weak schedule, somewhere around 41 looks more likely.Surprisingly enough, nobody picked Reyes or Kelly Johnson as SHaM MVP candidates. No, wait a second. LWFS nailed it.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Yeah, I'm afraid to go look for what 'sooth I sayed' on Cabrera in spring.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I think Grandy could be the SHaMVP
