Was watching with hubby but had to give up. Between Berman and the earsplitting music, I couldn't stand the noise. I feel bad too, because hubby is enjoying it

Stanton's great fun to watch. Out of all those guys he hits the most effortless kaBOOMs.

Like drafts and hours-long pre-game shows -- ultimately meaningless non-events and therefore in need of constant over-the-top hype -- the HR Derby is right up Chris Berman's alley.
It's (one of) the reason(s) I don't watch.
