Nice!

I have to say that Loney has been better than I expected. I hope they can find a role for him when Lucas returns.

Wow. I think he's out. And nice play w/that snowcone. He had possession.

I don't think the ball hitting the ground is the issue. It's possession of the ball. It was securely in the glove IMO.

Oh wait, that replay showed his glove wasn't totally clamped shut. This is a tuff one.

I hear all this about 'professional ABs' that Gary & Ron are talking about, and I know it might seem a bit picky to complain after tying up a game they once trailed by 6-0, but an actual hit with runners in scoring position might be nice every once in a while.
4 of the 6 runs have scored via outs or should-have-been outs and Flores's Sac Fly was the first time they got a ball out of the infield with RiSP despite having runners all over the place today.

There's one.

Rodney never a Met.
We've had a bunch of relievers seemingly like him but never actually him.

And he ain't shooting off any arrows today!!

Sometimes one is all you need (and all you get).

My bad. I could have sworn we had him that year when we went though like three closers at the start of the season before settling on Mejia.

Must be a flashback from his Tigers days!
