Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I can't predict a Fkn Frdy Frmn RBI and not also predict a Mets comeback. So I officially say I feel a comeback coming on.Oh my.* fans self.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 There we go, a rally-crushing GiDP following the rare leadoff baserunner was the only piece of shit this game was missing.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 C'mon, you goobers, get a hit for fuck's sake.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 A three-hit inning and yet no one even reaches 3rd base much less scores. And six baserunners in the 7th & 8th but of course no runs.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 We can't be pissed at Cabrera though. He has come through much more than not. This comeback is not over yet. Or maybe it hasn't yet begun. Two on, two out.I can't show it to you but SLAP ON YOUR RALLY CAP!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Maybe Conforto should take off tomorrow and go fishing.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 So much for visions of Confortobooms dancing through my head.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Think the Braves are going to strand these two?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I saw Plawecki's last at-bat. The 3-1 fastball. He had to know it was coming. He was overmatched. Did you see his expression? He knew it. The game (at this level) is moving too fast for him right now.Now make it so I'm full of shit this inning Plawman.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Ugly ending there. That's an Utleytastic move by Loney.

You watch enough, and you get to know where all of your batters like it.Not so much Plawecki. He gets ahead 3-1, and I don't know what he's looking for or where he's looking for it.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 ahhhhhhhhhhhahahaha. That's a new way to lose. Yea, Loney kinda overdid it there. W/o the elbow to the balls we might have had an argument. It's mid June and Matt Harvey has lost 9 games. Scripts change all the time but this is a very bad overwrite. I wasn't expecting greatness but I was expecting a good pitcher. Watching from behind the mound it looked like Dillon Gee was pitching. No offense Mr. Gee, although I don't see any other way you can take it.Lost, sad, a little worried, bummed about Wright. Any timetable at all on him yet?

It was a perfect pitch to shoot out to right. That was the one to hit. He himself says he thinks his decision making has not been good. I'm going to have to agree.Regardless, if he can't catch up to that 3-1 pitch earlier, he's not up to speed. Unless he decided to swing late and miss it by half a foot. Could be just a string of bad days, but Plaw hasn't looked fresh for a month now. He's getting days off so he shouldn't look so tuckered out.We hear it said all the time. Plawecki needs to slow the game down.
