Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 And Reed gets it done with the DP.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Howell is the type of pitcher Campbell is here to hit.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Some nice Little League fun when the fielder falls down, gets up, finds the ball, and still gets the out because the batter fell down at the same time.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I don't like pitching Familia in the non-save situation.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 What's the thinking in bringing in Familia in a non-save situation? I know there was an off-day, but shouldn't he get s rest?
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Really, really don't like this.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Walks in a run, gives up a triple to the bastard Utley and blows the lead. deGrom loses a W, and we risk losing a tie for first place.Dammit, Terry.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 An evil of the 7 inning complete game. Total BS.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 A poor demonstration of baseball skill there.

Now he's lost Familia for tomorrow when he might really be needed.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 This one's all on Terry. Familia never should have been in. Now he's wasted for tomorrow too. Bad managing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 He could have done any number of things. My thinking is stick with the guy pitching well, but...
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 There's a closer somewhere who owes Grandy a steak dinner.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 A win for Familia in a non save situation. LMAOWell done Grandy!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 Familia owes Grandy a week's worth of dinners for that one!!First walk-off of the season for us, no?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 A loss there would have REALLY sucked.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 back in first place.Racing stripes look terrible especially with guys wearing pants down to their shoes.

Now he's lost Familia for tomorrow when he might really be needed.Reed's spot in the lineup came up in bottom 8 so he had been PH'd for.I would have gone to a non-Familia choice there: Robles, Henderson, somebody, but wouldn't have had Reed hit just so he could pitch the 9th.And now Reed is available to close on Saturday so maybe it all works out.
