Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I haven't seen you posting in some of these threads calling for a vision of the near future for my teammates. What better chance to show what a buncha know-it-alls you all are.I'm Noah Syndergaard, and I'm a monster. Want to know what you HAVEN'T had to worry about this season? Sophomore slumps. The Class of Fifteen — Me, Matzy, Conforto... Plawecki even — have been the best story so far in Sixteen. But that's so far. And as you know, so far ain't all that far. That said, there's a lot of crazy people out there who expect me to mow through the league this season. What do you expect?[fimg=573]http://cdn.newsday.com/polopoly_fs/1.10980366.1445216589!/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_768/image.jpg[/fimg] [fimg=227]http://cache4.asset-cache.net/gc/495015056-the-new-york-mets-noah-syndergaard-hits-in-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=X7WJLa88Cweo9HktRLaNXgTeA%2BegDk6fu754Sghmy5jFY42gbRCTsvTeyhpBikjZoR1Fc0zQb%2BFhbWAMZMffJA%3D%3D[/fimg][fimg=437]http://www.sportsonearth.com/assets/images/3/7/8/154935378/cuts/GettyImages_493290798_7npirrpi_bdpvxw2m.jpg[/fimg] [fimg=363]http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2539197.1456086992!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_635/article-noahweb2-0221.jpg[/fimg]

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 He's like Harvey if Harvey wasn't such a first-class douche.Cy Young. 20 wins. 250 Ks. WRITE IT DOWN
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 I'm a little worried that he's put in an application for the Douche Society, and it's up to us to steer him right.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Early last year, I was worried that he might not have the stomach to be dominant in the majors. I think the confidence he has displayed early this year has elevated his game to where there are no limits.

And he's buying too deeply into the Thor persona. Plus talking big after a brushback. I know a lot of people loved that last one, but I don't want to see him swinging Harvey's way.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Anyone read this piece by Verducci (iirc) that says no way can Thor sustain his performance? I read it earlier today, I'll have to find it for a link. What a bunch of tripe.
