Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I may be a big enigma. But I'm a big enigma with over 100 career homers. And this is not insignificant, I also got me over 280 walks. I'm 12th on the team all time in the former category and could be seventh by the end of the season if my health cooperates. That ain't bad for a guy keeping the seat warm until somebody else needs to sit down, you know. And when it's time to move on, I'll probably do so in my quiet and unassuming way. But Mongo has a few more asses to kick before he leaves town. How many asses? This is unknown. Perhaps you can tell me.Hey, is that licorice?[fimg=500:3ietq9yu]http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1734822.1395804377!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/article_970/mets-spring-baseball.jpg[/fimg:3ietq9yu]
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Ken Davidoff can suck on my 33 homers, 112 RBIs and 270/350/498 line.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Still not sold on Duda. Dom Smith, hurry up and develop. 25/80/.250. Okay, but not great. And right now, your backup first baseman is Eric Campbell. He's been playing there a lot this spring.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Behind Duda on my depth chart, I've got nothing but Flores.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Somewhere between the numbers already posted in this thread..260 28 95. And doing it in bunches. Still some dry spells that will drive the fans to their phones to rant on WFAN about trading him immediately.Later
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Great quote on the tobacco ban yesterday:"It's just a rule we've got to abide by," Mets first baseman Lucas Duda said. "It's probably a good thing as far as health reasons and health concerns. But it's a rule we've got to abide by. It's not a big deal, really."The Duda abides. .245/.345/.455/.800, 25 HR, 75 RBIhttp://m.mets.mlb.com/news/article/168611854/mets-yanks-react-to-smokeless-tobacco-ban
