bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Set your VCR's: Fox Sports 1 will show "Tears of Joy" on December 27 at 6 PM. Also that night at 9 is a two-hour film on the World Series. I assume that it will only show Game 3.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 'Tears of Joy': A bit too much Jim Breuer for my tastes and somewhat skimpy on actual hi-lights (possibly because FOX didn't own enough of them) but still worth seeing.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Waaaaay too much Jim Breuer...........
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 There was way too much time spent on fans rather than on highlights. E.g., we didn't get to see Nieuwenhuis's HR in the 2d game of the sweep @WSH or anything from the 3d game but they showed Beltran's strikeout three times. I hope that we get a better record of a great season than this artsy-fartsy thing.

To me, it just seems like an annoying guy screaming.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I haven't seen them, but from what I've heard I haven't been motivated to seek them out.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hank Azaria at least provided some thoughtful complete sentences to the film. Still probably a bit overused, but at least his comments added to the story instead of distracted from it.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Put me down for 110% on the Breuer act.
