Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I went for the second, but I don't like the bleed. You're The Daily News, not Vogue.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I didn't vote for airborne Tejada in the first round but I did today.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Bleed is weird. Tejada's almost-jaunty expression is weirder.Still... the DW 'line is 'bleh.' Rubes.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 How about wasting most of the bottom half of the front page with black ink?
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Pardon my ignorance, but what is bleed?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 When the photo in a periodical, rather than being cropped into a frame, runs over the edge of the page.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Thanks, I just learned something NOW!!

I voted for the Post page, though, because flawed as it is, it's better than the News page. I think David Wright should be on the left side of the page and THE SHIP! should be on the right. I don't like how David is facing the edge of the page.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Both of these covers are front covers, interestingly enough.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I like both of them so I went with the more Met-positive of the two events.
