That Giant Bottle of Champagne

I just imagined the cameraman getting bored with the shot of Jeff Wilpon unable to open the bottle, and wanting to pan away, and the director yelling in his ear, "NO, this is great TV! Stay with this shot as long as it takes!"

I loved how Jeff couldn't get it opened. At the time, I said to my brother: Doesn't he hire people to open his bottles for him?

Wonder how much that sucker weighs!

He looked awful.

In fairness, I can't imagine I'd do much better. I'd guess you have to build up some massive pressure inside to blow that cork.

When he was handing it off to others (players) to try and open, my thought was, "please, Lord, don't let anyone get injured because Jeffy couldn't open the giant bottle of bubbly."

Wow, I said that too. I really did. That was the next thing I said.

I thought it was coach/trainer types helping him out... though not doing much better than him, whoever they were.
