Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I tend to think that, for some period of my childhood, "755" was "756." Did he have a homer lopped off somewhere along the line?

It doesn't even look familiar to me.It certainly doesn't have the magic that 714 and then 755 once had.give it thirty years.I mean, it has plenty of 'magic' for me. 762, 73.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 also 232, walks. very impressive.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Bonds record is 762. I was saying that ARod could have his sights on 763 and change his mind when his deal runs out.Aaron actually did lose a HR when he was called for stepping out of the box while sending one over the fence. But that was a call that was made at the time rather than one retroactively taken away from him so 755 was always his final total. So, yeah neither 755 or 762 had the 'magic' of 714 for a whole host of reasons.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 If ARod ends 2017 within a handful of home runs from the all-time lead, SOMEONE is going to pay him to set that record in their uniform.
