FWIW, every Cubs fan I have crossed paths with today online or IRL (I live close to their region) has been very gracious in defeat.

I feel the same was a CF. The only things I really learned are that: 1) Maddon complains a lot about balls and strikes; 2) Schwarber would be a great DH and I'm interested in seeing what they do about his fielding; 3) Soler can hit; 4) the ivy should be trimmed (not a metaphor for anything).
