Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 David Wright, when asked about Harvey, said, You'll have to ask Matt. I'm concerned about the guys that are here...We're rolling. We're clicking.Another teammate told the Daily News, "Well. I can't say I am happy about it. I guess we have to wait to see what happened.I'm probably reading between the lines too much, but I'd say that sounds like two guys who are a little bit done with having your back.

It's hard to get hung up on traffic as the excuse.I thought he had just reached his mandatory workout limit.
Guest cooby Guests Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 You know, when I saw this thread title I thought 'I'll bet Harvey doesn't show up" and I immediately felt bad for thinking that. So you're saying I'm right?

HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Traffic was SOOOOO bad that only 24 of the 25 guys were able to make it to the stadium.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 A year ago on the eve of the postseason, I had no idea where any Met was. This is better.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 This is when I wish Paulie was still around to rant and rave. Holy fuck Harvey is stupid. The regular season ended Sunday and he had 48 hours to get back.

That's not entirely true. I have a decent collection of Mets jerseys, game worn and authentic looking recreations. But I never go for the t-shirts and sweaters and other stuff baseball markets every year. But this year, I'm really digging those Majestic Hoodies every team is wearing. I'm talking about these:

dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I'm not casting any stones. It's something I could have done. I always allow for how long a trip should take. How long it actually takes is for the fates to decide.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 There's a little bit of "If Juan Lagares was late no one would've noticed, stop digging for quotes and let us handle our business" from Collins there.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Wow... Did Terry really say "dumbass" and "fucked up"?If so, either he always talks like that and we only get a filtered version, or he's especially agitated at this. That aside, there's a difference to being late, because of traffic, which can happen to anybody, and not showing up at all. And Harvey didn't show up at all, correct?
