Do they just say, "Screw it" or do they do a doubleheader as home field is on the line?Because the weather's looking pretty iffy for the next couple of days....If Tuesday or Wednesday get rained out, then yes, I'd expect a doubleheader on Thursday. But if Thursday gets rained out, I don't expect that the Mets would be forced to return to Philadelphia for a makeup game next Monday.

I'm sure neither of those records is indicative of the pitchers' respective abilities. The important thing, from a history-preserving standpoint, is Greinke could throw a complete game shutout and his ERA still won't beat Doc's from 1985. As for home field, just win, Mets.
