Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Great job, Reed. You made your daddy proud. Thanks for Addison Reed, jerks.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Wild pitches and balks. This is like our first-half offense going tonight.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 The Braves kill rallies with great defensive plays, but then give up runs with a balk and a passed ball. Go figure.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 The enormous pressure from having EYjr at 3rd base. It happens every time.Or the 2 times...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Braves fans start filing out like it's Washington or something.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 We gotta quit hitting it to Simmons. Can't we just roll one to Dan Uggla instead every once in a while? (oh wait, we can't ... he was too busy making the last out in the Nats game tonight).
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 You'd think the Braves would tone down that sillychop music as much as they suck.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Great job, Clippard. You made your daddy proud. Thanks for Tyler Clippard, jerks.

You wonder what it was about his 5.8 hits/9 w/Oakland this season and his sub-3.00 ERA those fans found so annoying. OK, he walked too many (4.9/9) but still ... I suspect part of the problem is that Oakland lost so many close games early in the season that one could convince themselves that every run allowed, especially late, was a HUGE run that decided a game and therefore was unforgivable.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 That's a man you want swinging 3-0.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 This just isn't explainable much less believable.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Doesn't hurt in the RBI department for Cespedes that Granderson has been on base 19 times in the last 8 games (including tonight)
