Murphy out of the game with at least two ailments according to Phils Booth. One mild, one not so much. Both involved muscles.

Woah, Cespedes goes wild!

Matt can really help his cause here. OOO, deep fly out to center.

7-3 Mets in the 6th.

Just for posterity's sake I should mention that when Phillie Brown went over the wall a few innings ago the end result was an inside the park home run for little Ruben Tejada.

I can't take this Phils booth any longer. They say Tejada should have caught that line single. He should have...what? Tried a little harder? And the replay shows T full extension just barely getting leather on the ball through extreme effort and the guy just keeps on talking " oh, he should have caught that".

ComeONNN!

I'll see how un synched the TV is with MLBtv on the PC. Here I come Howie!

Phils TV, Mets radio booth. Even though Howie's like 5 seconds ahead, this is pretty kool.

Muffy muscle: Howie says not serious.

Two brain-farts tonight by Cespedes, and the last out at third
Keef is hailing it as good try?

When Harry Kalas was alive, Phillies broadcasts were fabulous.

Now they're dreadful.

Harvester pulled with an out in the 7th at ~ pitch 100. He

D-Dad called the running out of the baseline issue even before the ump did :)

Heads up by Ruben to go on to get the out at first.

I agree. Harry made everyone around him better. Like Gary does IMO.

Caught part of the Phils' radio booth the other day and former pitcher Larry Anderson was insisting that when he first faced the Mets it was while the Mets were playing in Yanqui Stadium while Shea was being renovated

It took about three innings to correct it and even then only because someone notified the booth that the first version was all wet. Andersen actually came up with the Indians and first faced the Yanx when they were playing at Shea. He obviously had the facts reversed which is like reason #5,681 of why players' recollections of their careers are notoriously inaccurate.

Anderson's just flat out awful. And an idiot.

Nats up 2-1 via HRs from Werth & Zimmerman
But somehow they're still only in the 5th inning (even though they're nearly 2 hours into a low-scoring game) and Scherzer's pitch count is high (80+ thru 4.1 IP)
And the Cards are threatening: 1st & 3rd/1 out in the 5th

Howie was saying the shit was hitting the franchise as Harper was removed for mysterious reasons. The main suspect: his glute. But some will spin it as a lack of hustle.

It was in the midst of that Tuesday night blowout so the booth can be excused somewhat for straying off topics. But that's a fairly sizable mistake and, yeah, they didn't exactly sound too professional.
