Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Still no announced settlement in the B-Mets case but other actions already in motion to suggest they'll be in Wilmington in 2017. That is, the Class A franchise in Wilmo has been sold to the Rangers Class A and they'll move that to Kinston, NC. That leaves an opening in Wilmington for a Class AA club. It is speculated Bingo could wind up with a Class A or less team.

With the Rock Cats moving to Hartford next year, there's a fairly new stadium in New Britain that has a similar design to the one in Binghamton that will be unused...

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Officials with the new B-Mets owners and the city's government continue to deny, but all the pieces keep moving into place for a shift to Wilmington, and the denials have been sliding down the scale from no to not to my knowledge to well, somebody will be playing in our rustic old crater of a stadium next year.
