I liked the Mets black jerseys and hats, a lot

They were fine as a change of pace for a few seasons, but they definitely hung on to them way too long. The '99 & '00 seasons will always make those uniforms memorable. But I wouldn't want to see them return.

Yeah, they should have jettisoned them when the Minaya/Randolph management took over. They did wear out their welcome.

purple plaid would be fucking awesome.

i liked the black jerseys and the all black caps.
i hated the black drop shadow, and i really hated the black caps with the blue bills.
and i'm orange dot agnostic.

and lest i forget, the blue shirts with black lettering were the worst. blue with orange and the white piping makes me weak in the knees.
